Father’s Day Mugs

My husband and I have been married for almost ten years now. Throughout the years I learned that my beloved spouse has been in love with another thing aside from football and me: beer.

He was so into beer that our fridge had a remarkable supply of it. We had a truckload of beer cans (well, I’m exaggerating just to make a point) at the back of the house. I needed to do something. I know I can’t stop him from drinking beer all day, but at least I can do something with the trash.

Last father’s day, I gave my husband custom logo promotional mugs, so that he won’t have to rely on those dirty cans all the time. The mugs had a picture of him with a “happy father’s day” printed on it. To make it more special, we went out to celebrate the occasion at a local bar.

There were a lot of people in the pub. Not being a regular in these kinds of places, I was a bit surprised to see customized promotional barwares and carafes all over the tables. I never thought that a pub owner would just let any business promote their brand in the bar.

Anyway, we had a good time. We had a good talk, and for the first time in ages, he said “thank you” to me. Next year, father’s day will be much better. I’ll give him customized promotional coaster and drink holders then. Those darn beers are ruining my table!
